Bruni Plaza Restoration Project
The Webb County Heritage Foundation is pleased to announce the replacement of the park benches on historic Bruni Plaza. These benches have graced the plaza for generations and were named for the community patrons of times past. As you know, the plaza benches have deteriated over the years and we now invite our dear friends and community members to sponsor the cost of a new bench on the plaza.
Each terrazzo bench will be placed on a concrete pad for increased stability and will include space for up to five family names. The price of each engraved name is $500. An entire bench can be purchased for $2500.
Following is a site plan of the plaza with numbered bench locations. We have forty-five benches available. Please select your preferred bench site as benches and their location will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
The gift of a bench on historic Bruni Plaza is a beautiful way to commemorate a loved one for years to come. Please join us in this effort to preserve our city’s historic center. We look forward to hearing from you.
